Graduate Pathway in Electrical & Computer Engineering - Robotics: Vision

Do you want to study for a degree in the United States but need to improve English language skills or test scores? A Pathway program provides academic, language and cultural support in order to succeed at a US university. Students are guaranteed progression to an undergraduate degree program after completion of the Pathway program. We provide full integration with domestic and international students on campus from highly trained university instructors and tutors while giving you academic support throughout your program.

This Pathway program leads to the Master of Engineering or Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering - Robotics: Vision degree program at Colorado State University.

Graduate Pathway in ECE - Robotics: Vision

What are the progression requirements?

After successfully completing the Pathway program, you are guaranteed entry into a CSU graduate program (subject to successful completion of Pathway program and any additional requirements). This transition to university from an INTO CSU program is called progression.

You must meet the following Colorado State University Pathway progression criteria in order to progress:

Progression Requirements ME or MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering
Academic Requirements:
  • Minimum 3.0 CSU GPA for ME; minimum 3.2 CSU GPA for MS
  • No grade lower than B in all Pathway classes
  • No I or U grades; no unresolved W grade in a required Pathway course; no S grades, except in cases of credit earned by exam
Additional Requirements:
  • 3 recommendation letters from Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty  (for the 1-Semester Pathway, students are allowed to have two recommendation letters from ECE faulty and one recommendation letter from an INTO CSU instructor)
  • Current résumé and cover letter

What are my degree options after completing the INTO CSU Pathway?

The INTO CSU Graduate Pathway in Electrical and Computer Engineering - Robotics: Vision leads to Colorado State University's Master of Engineering or Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering program.

The ME degree is a coursework-only master's degree without the research requirement. The emphasis is on learning specific job-related knowledge and skills presented in graduate level courses.

You may elect to take courses with research content, but they will do so primarily as future research consumers and not necessarily as future researchers.
