Graduate Pathway in Mathematics

Do you want to study for a degree in the United States but need to improve English language skills or test scores? A Pathway program provides academic, language and cultural support in order to succeed at a US university. Students are guaranteed progression to an undergraduate degree program after completion of the Pathway program. We provide full integration with domestic and international students on campus from highly trained university instructors and tutors while giving you academic support throughout your program.

  • Undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited university with 3.0 GPA**
  • Undergraduate degree in Mathematics with 2.75 GPA

Graduate Pathway in Mathematics

What are the progression requirements?

After successfully completing the Pathway program, you are guaranteed to enter a CSU graduate program (subject to successful completion of Pathway program and any additional requirements). This transition to university from an INTO CSU program is called progression.

You must meet the following Colorado State University Pathway progression criteria in order to progress:

Progression Requirements Master of Science in Mathematics
Academic Requirements:

  • Cumulative 3.0 CSU GPA
  • No grade lower than a B in all Pathway courses
  • No I or U grades; no unresolved W grade in a required Pathway course; no S grades, except in cases of credit earned by exam
  • GRE score of 156 Verbal, 160 Quantitative, 4.0+ Analytical Writing 

Additional Requirements:

  • 3 professional recommendation letters
  • Current professional resume
