Undergraduate Pathway in Engineering, Computing and Statistics

Do you want to study for an undergraduate degree in the United States but need to improve English language skills or test scores? A Pathway program provides academic, language and cultural support in order to succeed at a US university. Students are guaranteed progression to an undergraduate degree program through curriculum consisting of credit-earning courses. We provide full integration with domestic and international students on campus from highly trained university instructors and tutors while giving you academic support throughout the program.

3-Semester Pathway

Our new 3-Semester Pathway program is designed specially for international students who want to start earning credits toward their bachelor's degree at a US university. This program offers more focus on English language preparation than our other Pathway programs. The chart below is a sample course schedule for the first term of the 3-Semester Pathway program.

Undergraduate Pathway in Engineering, Computing and Statistics

What are the progression requirements? 

Upon successful completion of an INTO Mason Pathway program and meeting university requirements for graduate admission, you may enter your next semester of undergraduate study at George Mason University. This transition from an INTO Mason Pathway program to a university degree program is called progression. You must meet the following George Mason University Pathway progression criteria in order to progress:

  • 2.85 cumulative Mason GPA
  • C or better in all courses
  • B- or better in MATH, CS, IT, ENGR, and PHYS courses
  • No grades of NC, W, or IN permitted

You are fully admitted to George Mason University provided successful completion of conditional admission criteria at the end of the Pathway and submission of all required admission credentials.
