About the INTO Manchester Centre

A rewarding experience in an exciting city

The modern INTO Manchester Study Centre is close to city and local university facilities. It offers you the chance to study in one of the most exciting and culturally diverse cities in the world.

The Centre is home to our friendly Student Services team, who will ensure your experience is both rewarding and worry-free.

They understand the challenges that come with studying abroad, and provide a dedicated network of support. From visa and immigration advice, through to opening your UK bank account, you're in safe hands.

Life outside the classroom

As an international student, you can live as part of a vibrant student community in our purpose-built halls of residence. Or why not experience real British life in a family homestay? Both options offer a secure, comfortable environment in which to grow – both academically and as a person.

There INTO Manchester Welcome Desk is available for any questions you may have, and you can also call a 24-hour telephone number in case of an emergency.

Social programme with INTO Manchester

The INTO Manchester social programme will make it easy for you to meet new people and get the most out of your new home.

This includes visits to the theatre, cinemas, and other places of interest such as the National Football Museum and Manchester United Football Club.

You can also enjoy trips further afield, including to the beautiful Lake District, Stratford-upon-Avon (Shakespeare's birthplace), and other cultural destinations across the north west of England.

Want to get involved? You can become a member of the Student Social Committee and form clubs and societies around your own hobbies and interests with the support of INTO Manchester staff.

The International Society

The International Society is a not-for-profit organisation unique to Manchester.

Based just a few minutes’ walk from the INTO Centre, it provides a social and supportive environment for nearly 7,000 international students from over 120 countries studying in Manchester.

The Society arranges weekend trips around the UK, offers more than 65 different classes each week, and organises over 100 different social events throughout the year.
