MMU’s careers service

The University's Careers and Employability Service offers impartial, high-quality advice service to help you get ahead in your chosen career.

  • Careers Information rooms with extensive careers resources and IT facilities.
  • Individual appointments with a Careers and Employability Adviser.
  • Workshops on job seeking, CVs, assessments, and other career-related topics.
  • Online careers information and careers advice via email.
  • Support at careers fairs and details of employer presentations taking place at the University.

You'll enjoy this access to professional careers advice for up to three years after you graduate from the University.

Work placements

Many MMU degree courses offer work placement years, with such companies as IBM, Mercedes, Sony, Intel, and Disney.

While on your placement, you'll continue to be fully supported by the University's careers and employability staff. 

This includes from application and interview, right through to when you return to your final year.
