Graduate Pathway in Health Informatics

Do you want to study for a degree in the United States but need to improve English language skills or test scores? A Pathway program provides academic, language and cultural support in order to succeed at a US university. **Students using Password and PTEA as proof of English level will take an English placement test upon arrival. Students scoring below the required entry standard for their Pathway program will be placed in Academic English.

Graduate Pathway in Health Informatics

What are the progression requirements?

After successfully completing the Pathway program, you are guaranteed to enter a second year of study. This transition to university from an INTO program is called progression. You must meet the following Marshall University Pathway Progression criteria in order to progress:

  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA in graduate level courses
  • No grades below B in all 500/600 level courses
  • No grades below C in all ENG 150, 151 and 160 courses
  • No I grades
  • GRE on file

You are fully admitted to Marshall University provided you've successfully completed conditional admission criteria at the end of the Pathway program and submitted all required admission credentials.

Upon successful completion of the Graduate Pathway program, you will be ready to start your second year in Marshall University's graduate degree program in Health Informatics.
