A welcoming and friendly study space

You'll find the Newcastle University London campus in the heart of London's financial district, just five minutes walk from Liverpool Street railway station. It's a welcoming and stylish space, with friendly staff and state-of-the-art facilities.

You'll be able to make the most of flexible study spaces for lectures, seminars and tutorials. An extensive Learning Resource Centre will help with your research and assignments.

There are also e-resources including Newcastle University's vast collection of ebooks. And, don't forget to make use of the free Wi-Fi throughout the centre, for studying or to catch up with your friends and family back home.

Need to relax and unwind after a full day studying? Enjoy a bite to eat or coffee with your friends in the campus cafe, take part in one of the many social activities going on or head to the local gym for a work out.

State of the art facilities

You’ll find all your study needs are met on campus, but if you need any extra resources there’s always Newcastle University’s e-resources and the British Library’s not too far from home.

Flexible teaching spaces

On campus, you’ll find two lecture theatres and modern seminar rooms, which all contain interactive whiteboards. These flexible learning spaces support lectures, practical sessions, seminars, tutorials, private study and e-learning.

Lost your reading list? No problem, you can download a new one from Newcastle University’s virtual learning environment, which also provides access to course handouts, online assessments and discussions with tutors and fellow students.

Learning Resource Centre

When you need to research your latest assignment or print out your study notes, head down to the Learning Resource Centre. You’ll find books, DVDs, journals and newspapers to support your studies, as well as printing, copying and scanning facilities.

Can’t find what you’re looking for? Just ask our friendly support staff, who are on hand to help you find what you need. It’s also the place to go to access the University’s wealth of online learning resources including over half a million ebooks and electronic journals.

International food just moments away

There are over 6,000 restaurants in London, so you'll never be short of new places to eat. Dining options include foods from around the world, reflecting the city's multicultural population.

What's available on campus?

Have a craving for some beef bulgogi? Downstairs you'll find a Japanese Canteen serving bento and donburi, noodles, bipimbap, fried rice, sashimi, maki rolls and of course sushi. You can grab a bite to eat for lunch with friends or even a late dinner as they're open till 10 pm.

Fancy sharing a pizza? Next to the Japanese Canteen is Pizza Union. Superfast 12" Italian fire-baked thin and crispy pizzas. Don't eat gluten? No problem, order the gluten-free dough.

Coffee with your new friends

You can grab a tea or coffee in the campus cafe but, if you'd prefer to get a bit of fresh air and venture out, there are plenty of coffee shops nearby.
