Undergraduate Pathway Programs

Do you want to study for a degree in the United States but need to improve English language skills or test scores? A Pathway program provides academic, language and cultural support in order to succeed at a US university. Students are guaranteed progression to an undergraduate degree program. We provide full integration with domestic and international students on campus from highly trained university instructors and tutors while giving you academic support throughout your program.

INTO OSU Undergraduate Pathway program will prepare you to enter one of OSU's many undergraduate degree programs.

Undergraduate Pathway Programs

What are the progression requirements?

After successfully completing the Undergraduate Pathway program, you are guaranteed to enter an OSU undergraduate degree program. This transition to university from an INTO program is called progression. You must meet the following Oregon State University Pathway Progression criteria in order to progress:

  • 2.25 cumulative GPA in the Pathway program
  • No Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory (S/U) graded courses in OSU academic course work
  • Grade of C- or better in English Composition (WR 121), Math (MTH 111, MTH 105 or higher) and Communication (COMM 111)
  • For the 1-term Pathway: Minimum of 12 credits earned during the Pathway program
  • For the 2-term Pathway: Minimum of 24 credits earned during the Pathway program

The INTO OSU 1-Term Undergraduate Pathway programs lead to any undergraduate major at Oregon State University.
