Do you want to study for a degree in the United States but need to improve English language skills or test scores? A Pathway program provides academic, language and cultural support in order to succeed at a US university. Students are guaranteed progression to a graduate degree program. We provide full integration with domestic and international students on campus from highly trained university instructors and tutors while giving you academic support throughout your program.

*All Graduate Pathway MBA students are required to take the OSU Math Placement Test during orientation week. This test will place you in the most suitable math class. If you place at a lower level than MATH 245, you may require additional terms of study. In order to prepare you for the MBA Graduate Pathway, you will have the opportunity to take the free, online OSU Math Placement Test in your home country. You can take the test in the 6-month period before your Graduate MBA Pathway begins. After taking the test, you will have access to free, online math study materials for a period of 6 months. These materials are specifically designed to help you increase your math skills.If you are completing the INTO OSU Academic English program prior to the MBA Pathway, you will have the opportunity to take the OSU Math Placement Test in the INTO OSU Center. If necessary, you will then be able to take a math course that will help you to reach the required math level by the time you start the MBA Pathway.

Graduate Pathway in Master's of Business Administration

What are the progression requirements?

After successfully completing the Pathway program, you can enter an OSU graduate program (subject to successful completion of Pathway program and any additional requirements). This transition to university from an INTO program is called progression. You must meet the following Oregon State University Pathway Progression criteria in order to progress:

The INTO OSU Graduate MBA Pathway is designed to provide a route and academic foundation for students wanting to pursue the MBA degree. Students can choose one of the following areas of specialization, also know as "tracks", for the OSU MBA.

The Graduate MBA Pathway with the MBA program combined will take 1-3 years to complete depending on course-load and specialization options.

How will an INTO OSU Pathway and an OSU degree program prepare me for success after my studies?

MBA Intensive Test Preparation

TOEFL, GMAT and GRE test preparation are built into the Graduate MBA Pathway curriculum. Students receive up to 40 hours of test preparation throughout the duration of the program. Our test preparation courses are taught by experienced instructors and focus on skills-based language development and test-taking skills which include the use of practice tests and individual feedback on performance. We also provide self-study materials, available in our Learning Center.

Integrated Business Project (IBP)

As a student in OSU's College of Business, you'll have many opportunities to participate in experiential learning programs that prepare you to enter the workforce.

The OSU MBA supplements rigorous classroom instruction with practical, hands-on opportunities to learn by doing. This model gives you both the knowledge and the experience you need to lead in an increasingly complex and interconnected business environment. As an MBA student at OSU, you will work collaboratively in multi-cultural, interdisciplinary teams and will have the opportunity to complete an integrated business project in your chosen field of study.

You'll enjoy small classes while focusing on global citizenship and ethical business practices. As a result of completing the OSU MBA program, you will be able to create, build and manage innovative, socially responsible, and sustainable enterprises in a global business environment.
