Queen's residential accommodation is among the best and most modern in the UK. Our students live alongside UK and international students. It's a great way to meet people and make new friends from the moment you arrive! You'll have everything you need, right in the heart of the Queen's university campus.

You can choose from:

  1. En-suite single room
  2. Shared three or four bedroom apartment

Queen's student accommodation is among the most modern in the UK. The University has invested £45 million in the Elms Student Village, which is home to more than 2,000 students. You will enjoy modern study-bedrooms with shared kitchens, and be part of a vibrant student community of students from all over the world. You will also be just a short walk from the INTO Centre and main University facilities.

On-campus accommodation

Elms Student Village is in a nice residential area, within walking distance of both the University and the INTO Centre. The Student Village is a safe environment for students to live, work and socialise. Our reception desk is open 24/7 so you can access help and support whenever you need it and there is 24-hour security on site.

At the heart of the Student Village is the Treehouse, with a restaurant and bar, Wi-Fi, a shop, laundry and a reception desk where you can find support from accommodation staff and the Residential Life team.

Details

All rooms are fully furnished and include free wireless internet access. A team of Residential Assistants live in the accommodation and provide support to students during out-of-office hours. You can go to them if you have a problem any time of day or night.

1. Elms Village en-suite rooms

Facilities include:

  • Comfortable private room in an accommodation block
  • Private bathroom
  • Shared kitchen/common room including a dining table, TV and soft seating
  • Free wireless internet access
  • 24/7 support from residential staff

Accommodation blocks are three floors high and on each floor there are 11 bedrooms with communal social space.

2. Willow walk apartments

Facilities include:

  • A shared 3 or 4 bedroom apartment with its own front door
  • Private double bedroom
  • Shared bathroom
  • Shared kitchen/common area including a dining table, TV and lounge area
  • Free wireless internet access
  • 24/7 support from residential staff

The apartments face onto an open green with grass areas, trees and flowerbeds. There’s also a student common area for Residents with PCs, Wi-Fi, large flat screen TVs, vending machines and a small kitchenette, where you can make tea or coffee. It's a great place to relax, study or socialise.
