1. Horton Halls

Horton Halls offers you the chance to mix with British and international students in a diverse and dynamic student environment. It accommodates almost 500 students from all St George's programmes.

Just 15 minutes' walk from the St George's campus, Horton Halls are equipped with everything you need and are close to local supermarkets and shops.

  • En suite single study bedrooms.
  • A well-equipped shared kitchen and dining area.
  • Specially designed ground-floor accommodation for wheelchair users.
  • Two spacious common rooms with comfortable chairs and large televisions.
  • Internet access in all units.
  • On-site laundry facilities.
  • 24-hour manned reception, and secure storage for 200 bicycles.
  • Wheelchair accessible, with provision for students with disabilities or special needs.
  • A bedding pack including a single duvet and cover, pillow and pillow case, and a sheet and mattress protector.

Horton Halls housing is guaranteed for international students in their first year.

2. Furzedown Student Village (International Foundation students only)

Located in Tooting, about 20 minutes' walk to campus, Furzedown was recently refurbished to a high specification and boasts 263 en suite, single study rooms.

Furzedown and has excellent transport links to campus and central London. It offers:

  • single rooms with private bathroom
  • well-equipped shared kitchen areas
  • on-site gym
  • common room with large TVs and pool tables
  • study area
  • fast Wi-Fi broadband internet
  • on-site laundry facilities
  • 24/7 security warden

Please note that this accommodation is only available to International Foundation students over 18.

3. Homestay

Homestay accommodation provides you with a 'home-away-from-home'. INTO St George's has a variety of homestay options ranging from bed and breakfast to self catering, with locations throughout London.

You will live with a family, sharing mealtimes and all other facilities in the home that you need, including the family bathroom and laundry facilities.

Homestay accommodation is great for younger students or for those who wish to practise their conversational English, and can also offer great peace of mind for parents.

With years of experience, our host families will help you to adjust and settle in to your new environment with ease.

4. University of London intercollegiate halls of residence

All INTO St George's, University of London students also have access to accommodation services run by the University of London.

The University of London has eight intercollegiate halls of residence available to full-time students.

These are all located in central London, and residents here will be able to mix with students from the different University of London colleges.

5. Private accommodation sourced by ULHS

The University of London Housing Services (ULHS) offers advice to students seeking accommodation in the private sector.

A comprehensive list of private halls of residences can be found at the ULHS website: http://housing.london.ac.uk.

All the halls of residence listed on this site have been visited by the ULHS. However, they are not owned or run by the University of London.

The ULHS also maintains a database of letting agents and landlords who have signed up to the ULHS Code of Good Practice.
