Scholarships

Scholarships for 2016-17 academic year

A number of scholarships are available for international students, and US and Canadian students can also find out more about financial aid loans.

The full sum of a scholarship will be deducted from your tuition fees for each year of study. This is subject to you successfully passing each assessment during your programme.

Please note that scholarships, discounts and bursaries awarded by INTO can't usually be combined. Students will be awarded the reduction that is most beneficial to them.

International Graduate Medicine (MBBS4)

1) Edward Jenner scholarship

  • Up to £10,000 per year of study scholarship may be awarded to 1 student.

2) International Graduate Medicine scholarships

  • Up to £5,000 per year of study may be awarded to up to 3 students.

How to apply

  • All international fee-paying students who applied to the programme by 31 January 2016 will be automatically considered for a scholarship.
  • You do not need to submit a separate application form.
  • This is subject to students meeting entry requirements, and subsequently accepting our offered place as their first choice.
  • Deadline for submitting MCAT/GAMSAT scores and completing interview is 03 May (last MCAT sit date will be 01 April).
  • Students will be selected according to their MCAT/GAMSAT test result (minimum 28/502 for MCAT and 58 for GAMSAT) and their Multiple Mini Interview score.

International Medicine (BSc/MBBS6)

1) Edward Jenner scholarship

  • Up to £10,000 per year of study may be awarded to 1 student.

2) International Medicine scholarships

  • Up to £5,000 per year of study may be awarded to 1 student.
  • Up to £5,000 per year of study may be awarded to 1 student attending INTO St George's, University of London International Foundation in Medical, Biomedical and Health Sciences 2015-16.

How to apply

  • All international fee-paying students who applied to the programme by 31 January 2016 will be automatically considered for a scholarship.

  • This is subject to students meeting entry requirements, and subsequently accepting our offered place as their first choice.
  • Students will be selected according to their UKCAT results (minimum of 500 in each section) and their Multiple Mini Interview scores.
  • INTO St George's, University of London International Foundation in Medical, Biomedical and Health Sciences programme students must have completed the UKCAT and interview by 10 July 2016.
  • All other applicants must complete their interview and UKCAT by 01 May 2016.

International Foundation in Medical, Biomedical and Health Sciences

INTO St George's International Foundation scholarship

  • Up to £18,000 split across two years may be awarded 6 students.
  • Successful applications will have £9,000 deducted from their International Foundation tuition fees.
  • On successful progression to a St George's, University of London degree programme £9,000 will be deducted from year 1 tuition fees.
