Please note that all students under the age of 18 who request to live in halls of residence will be placed in Park View.

1. Park View

A modern building, based in the heart of Manchester city's vibrant University Quarter, Park View is home solely to INTO students and is one of our most popular residences.

All rooms have stylish interiors, 3/4 sized bed, en suite facilities and Wi-Fi access. With only 222 rooms in same-gender flats, this is a secure, close-knit community, where visitors are monitored carefully and staff are committed to ensuring that each student is safe, happy, and able to concentrate on their studies.

About this accommodation

Just a 10 minute bus ride from the INTO Manchester Study Centre, Park View accommodation offers:

  • a smaller number of rooms, resulting in a more personal service
  • friendly on-site security who get to know our students individually

  • excellent after-hours support and on-site social programme

INTO Manchester has worked alongside Park View for several years, so on-site security and welfare staff know our students well, and pride themselves on personal, friendly service.

2. Liberty Point

Liberty Point is a new accommodation option for 2017/18.

Situated on Berry Street, Liberty Point is close to lots of restaurants, cafes and shops, making it the perfect place to be if you like being in the centre of everything.

About this accommodation

Liberty Point is situated just 15 minutes from the INTO Centre, a 5 minute walk from Manchester Piccadilly train station and central to the University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University.

INTO currently occupies 26 apartments in this accommodation; with each apartment consisting of 6 rooms with a shared kitchen and dining area.

3. Lambert and Fairfield

INTO Manchester is proud to introduce Lambert and Fairfield, two superior accommodation buildings with shared facilities.

Perfectly situated in the heart of Manchester city centre, a 5 minute walk to Manchester Piccadilly train station and just a 10 minute walk from the INTO Manchester study Centre, Lambert and Fairfield offer the very best in modern features including 100Mb Wi-Fi, and contemporary appliances throughout.

About this accommodation

En suite rooms make great use of space, creating an ideal private study environment, while 24 hour security, CCTV and an electronic entry system allow students to live and work in safety.

Community spirit is strong at Lambert and Fairfield, with shared study areas and a range of on-site recreational facilities, including a gym, cinema, karaoke and gaming rooms, and bowling alley. There are 55 INTO occupied apartments and each apartment has 9-11 rooms, with a shared kitchen and dining area.

4. Wilmslow Park House

Wilmslow Park House is a premium accommodation option situated just a short distance from The University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University campuses.

It's surrounded by shops, cafes and amenities, and is only a ten minute bus journey to the INTO Manchester Study Centre.

5. Homestay

INTO Manchester has a network of carefully selected family hosts who welcome international students into their homes. This is a unique opportunity to live and experience British life and culture first-hand, improving your English in a comfortable environment.

About this accommodation

Each family is visited to make sure the accommodation they provide is up to standard and each family member living in the house is DBS checked for an property accommodating students under 18 years old. 

Facilities include:

  • a single study bedroom
  • shared breakfast and evening meals
  • access to household facilities, including laundry and communal bathroom

Under 18s

Under 18's will enjoy the support of a host who will talk students through the rules of homestay in relation to their age and will ensure that the student is home by curfew each evening. Homestay hosts will remain in regular contact with the Centre regarding the students and their wellbeing.

Standard homestay

You will need to keep your room clean and manage your own laundry. Internet access is not always available (although it is available at the INTO Manchester Study Centre) and specialist diets such as vegetarian and halal are not always catered for.

Superior homestay

This has all the facilities of the standard option, but with a slightly larger bedroom and an en suite bathroom, along with additional guaranteed internet access and catering for most specialist diets. Your room will be cleaned (although you are still expected to keep it tidy), and two loads of laundry will be washed and ironed each week.

Homestay accommodation is only available during vacations by special request and is not guaranteed.

A supplement may be payable; over the two-week Christmas period. If you wish to leave your belongings with the host family during a vacation period, the full weekly amount will be payable.
