Please note that all students under the age of 18 who request to live in halls of residence will be placed in Park View.

1. Park View

A modern building, based in the heart of Manchester city's vibrant University Quarter, Park View is home solely to INTO students and is one of our most popular residences.

All rooms are queen-sized with stylish interiors, en suite facilities and Wi-Fi access. With only 200 rooms in same-gender flats, this is a secure, close-knit community, where visitors are monitored carefully and staff are committed to ensuring that each student is safe, happy, and able to concentrate on their studies.

About this accommodation

Just a 20 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride from the INTO Manchester Study Centre, Park View accommodation offers:

  • a smaller number of rooms, resulting in a more personal service
  • friendly on-site security who get to know our students individually

2. Parkway Gate

Students choosing to live in residential accommodation will benefit from close social interaction with other students, including learning about each other and their cultures. For many students this is an unforgettable part of their experience.

About this accommodation

Parkway Gate is a purpose-built student residence situated in the heart of Manchester, only a 10 minute walk away from the INTO Manchester Study Centre.

All of the rooms have Wi-Fi access and an en suite shower, and you will share a fully fitted kitchen with your hall mates. The accommodation is self-catered, giving you the flexibility to cook what you want, when you want.

Details

This purpose-built student residence offers:

  • self-catered apartment with shared, fully-fitted kitchen
  • single bedrooms with en suite shower rooms
  • free internet access with Wi-Fi available throughout
  • flatscreen TV in the communal area
  • common room and games room, including pool table
  • garden/courtyard and bicycle storage
  • secure door entry and CCTV system
  • access to laundry
  • weekly clean of communal areas

Centre-appointed residential tutors live in the accommodation and will help you to settle in on arrival, organise social activities, and provide support during out-of-office hours. Tutors are all previous students of INTO Manchester and have first-hand experience of studying overseas.

You will need to bring towels and other essential items. A bedding pack containing a quilt, quilt cover, pillow and pillow case will be available to buy for £30 at the Centre if required. You will also need to buy your own cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery, but may have the opportunity to share this cost with other students if you wish.

3. Wilmslow Park

Wilmslow Park is a premium accommodation option situated just minutes away from The University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University campuses.

It's surrounded by shops, cafes and amenities, and is only a ten minute bus journey to the INTO Manchester Study Centre.

4. Lambert and Fairfield

INTO Manchester is proud to introduce Lambert and Fairfield, two superior accommodation buildings with shared facilities.

Perfectly situated in the heart of Manchester city centre, opposite Piccadilly train station and just a 5 minute walk from the INTO Manchester study Centre, Lambert and Fairfield offer the very best in modern features including 100Mb Wi-Fi, and contemporary appliances throughout.

About this accommodation

En suite rooms make great use of space, creating an ideal private study environment, while 24 hour security, CCTV and an electronic entry system allow students to live and work in safety.

5. Homestay

INTO Manchester has a network of carefully selected family hosts who welcome international students into their homes. This is a unique opportunity to live and experience British life and culture first-hand, improving your English in a comfortable environment.

About this accommodation

Facilities include:

  • shared breakfast and evening meals
  • access to household facilities, including laundry and communal bathroom

Under 18s

Under 18's will enjoy the support of a host who will talk students through the rules of homestay in relation to their age and will ensure that the student is home by curfew each evening. Homestay hosts will remain in regular contact with the Centre regarding the students and their well-being.

Standard homestay

You will need to keep your room clean and manage your own laundry. Internet access is not always available (although it is available at the INTO Manchester Study Centre) and specialist diets such as vegetarian and halal are not always catered for.

Superior homestay

This has all the facilities of the standard option, but with additional guaranteed internet access and catering for most specialist diets. Your room will be cleaned (although you are still expected to keep it tidy), and two loads of laundry will be washed and ironed each week.

Homestay accommodation is only available during vacations by special request and is not guaranteed.

A supplement may be payable; over the two-week Christmas period. If you wish to leave your belongings with the host family during a vacation period, the full weekly amount will be payable.
