Careers services at The University of Manchester

From the day you arrive, you'll be able to access support with your career planning through a multiple award-winning careers service.

Employment services include live webcasts, international e-mentoring programmes, major Manchester-based recruitment fairs, and networking events exclusively for international students.

You can take advantage of more than 30 annual international careers workshops, including employer presentations offering insight into diverse careers and valued skills. There's also an online job vacancy service that details 75,000 vacancies with 13,000 companies in over 40 countries.

Want some more personal advice? You can make an appointment with the University's professional careers consultants for one-to-one guidance. Among other things, they can help you with writing CVs and applications, excelling at for interviews, and preparing for psychometric tests.

Alumni

The University of Manchester has the largest alumni community of any campus-based university in the UK. It is made up of almost 280,000 former students from more than 190 countries.

Graduates have gone on to undertake top positions in business, politics, industry and the arts.
