Scholarships for INTO University of East Anglia students

Scholarships available - 2017-18 academic year

INTO University of East Anglia offers a range of generous scholarships. All students are welcome to apply, no matter what your background or financial circumstance.

International Foundation - 100% joint venture scholarships

INTO and UEA are offering 100% scholarships for students commencing the International Foundation programme in September 2017 and January 2018.

There are ten scholarships worth £17,495 (£17,995 for science pathways) available across all International Foundation pathways.

50% will be deducted from your International Foundation tuition fee and 50% will be deducted from your first year UEA tuition fee.

Please note that scholarships, discounts and bursaries awarded by INTO can't usually be combined. Students will be awarded the reduction that is most beneficial to them.

Rewarding your success with a progression scholarship

A UEA progression scholarship will reward your commitment to studying, acknowledge your success with INTO UEA, and support you with the costs of your university tuition fees.

UEA Vice-Chanchellor scholarships

  • Scholarships worth from 25% to 50% of tuition fees for students who progress to UEA with an unconditional offer.
  • International Foundation students must be nominated by their Programme Manager to be considered for the scholarship.
  • There are an unlimited number of £3,000 scholarships awarded to students who achieve at least 80% throughout their INTO UEA International Foundation programme.
  • Scholarships are awarded in the form of a tuition fee discount, once you successfully progress from your INTO UEA programme.

Meet Pham Hoai Anh (Aimee) from Vietnam, who graduated with a first in BA Intercultural Communication with Business Management from UEA.

You received a scholarship from INTO UEA. What difference has this made for you?

When I asked for advice about applying to INTO from an education counsellor, I was given some information about scholarships that were available. Even though I thought it would be extremely difficult to get one, I decided to take a shot and hope for the best.

It felt like I had achieved something really big, more than I could ever imagine. Since receiving the scholarship from INTO I have been encouraged to have more confidence and motivation to continue my study in the next three years.

What do you think is the best thing about studying at INTO UEA?

The best thing about studying at INTO University of East Anglia is that I have the opportunity to study in a very active and supportive environment. With the help of the staff and teachers, and with the modern facilities, I have gained knowledge of new academic subjects, which I expect will help me a lot when I go to university.

The staff are helpful, the teachers are dedicated and I always found it comfortable to ask them about things that I didn't understand. And I have many new friends there from all over the world and they are all very nice.
