Meet Vuqar who graduated with a 2:1 in BSc Accounting and Finance from UEA.

"Studying abroad taught me to be independent and to rely on myself. I think these qualities really help me with my job.

"When I studied on the International Year One programme, the teachers and all the staff were helping me to progress to university in my second year. I spent my spare time working as a Student Ambassador and volunteering for the Azerbaijan Society, where I got to help current students with their issues and also met with potential students when they visit the University.

"After my graduation I plan to do my master’s, then after that I plan to go back to my country, Azerbaijan. I hope to take all my experience and the things that I have learned during these three years at the University of East Anglia and apply it in my country, to improve my future and also the future of my country."
