Who should apply?

The Integrated degree is suitable for international students who have completed secondary school education in their own country, who do not meet the academic or English language requirements for direct entry to the University of Gloucestershire.

How do I qualify?

Academic requirements: You need to have completed 12 years of schooling (or the local equivalent to meet the same standard) with good grades.To find out more about country specific entry requirements contact us now
English requirements:

IELTS 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in all sub-skills) or equivalent.

With Pre-sessional English:
10 week, 20 hour Pre-sessional: IELTS 5.0 (with a minimum of 5.0 in writing and reading) or equivalent.
10 week, 25 hour Pre-sessional: IELTS 4.5 (with a minimum of 4.5 in writing and reading) or equivalent.

The Centre also accepts other Secure English Language Tests (SELTS) for this course. Read more about SELTS or contact us for more details.

If you do not meet the minimum English language level you can apply for our Academic English course.

16 years and above

Note: All students commencing courses for the September start date must be 16 years old by 1 September of that calendar year. All students commencing courses for the January start date must be 16 by 1 September of that academic year. So, for example, students starting in January 2017 must be 16 by 1 September 2016.

  • enrolment fee: an additional charge of £150 per academic programme (to be charged upon confirmation)
  • textbooks: available from the Centre for an additional charge in the region of £210 per academic course (3 term) or £270 per academic course (4 term)
