Nervous about leaving home? Don’t be, joining us means being part of a close knit community. You won’t be alone with 10,000 other students from 130 countries. 

You’ll be living in Cheltenham, located in the Cotswolds, a region famous for its outstanding natural beauty. You’ll have plenty to do, with the active social programme including day trips to London, Liverpool and Bath, quiz nights and cooking classes.

A small town with plenty of action

Want to live in a historical picturesque spa town in the Cotswolds? Welcome to Cheltenham. While you’re here, you’ll shop in one of the top five shopping streets in Britain. 

Relax with friends in one of the town’s many parks and open spaces. Attend an international festival or sporting event. And, visit a traditional English tearoom. 

Hop on the bus to the historical city of Gloucester to visit the cathedral, famous for its appearances in the Harry Potter films. Fancy a day out in the capital? In just two hours you could be in London.

Something for everyone

Nervous about making new friends? As an INTO student, you’ll be able to join any of the 100 clubs and societies run by the Students’ Union, giving you plenty of opportunity to make new friends. The student services team also run an active social programme for you to get involved in. 

Need a drink after finishing an assignment? As well as the Students’ Union bars on campus, you’ll find traditional British Pubs and nightclubs in Cheltenham.

Working while studying

Need some extra cash while you’re studying? If your visa allows it, you may be able to work while you’re here in the UK. It’s a great way to gain experience and boost your career prospects. 

The JobShop on Park Campus offers lots of part-time jobs that will fit around your studies. The University also employs many students as student ambassadors, who proudly represent the University at events.

Everything you need on campus

You’ll have access to a range of university facilities including libraries on each campus, the multi-million pound sports centre and the Students’ Union. There are over 100 clubs and societies to join so you’re bound to find something you like. 

Can’t find one? No problem, they’ll help you start up your own. If you love sport make sure you join UNIversal Sport and enjoy a huge range of sporting, recreational, exercise and fitness activities while having fun and making friends.

A home from home

Want to live with other students? Great, we have four student residences for you to choose from, depending on your needs and budget. All rooms have a desk, so you can get all your private study done before heading to the communal kitchen to hang out and make dinner with your new friends. 

You’ll also live with a couple of senior students who are there to help you out if you need them. Or, you can choose to live with a British family in the local area, a great way to experience British life and culture first-hand.

An international menu

The campus hosts students from every corner of the globe and the food services reflect this. Craving a curry? Check out Curry Mondays at the Park Refectory. 

If it’s just a snack you’re after, you’ll find plenty of cafes spread over all three campuses. Need some lemongrass for your Thai green curry? Pop into town, where you’ll find an Oriental Food Store on the High Street.
