What's special about the University?
Often described as one of the most beautiful campuses in the UK, the University of Stirling campus is unique. Set within a 330-acre estate with its own loch and castle, surrounded by beautiful Scottish countryside. This creates a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere. And with 11,000 students, you'll feel a big part of the community here.
The MacRobert Arts Centre is the cultural hub of campus. With its own public art collection and theatre where you can watch live comedy and dance performances. There is also a cinema that screens indie and Hollywood films.
Looking for a fun place to meet with friends on campus? There are three coffee shops and ten restaurants and bars to choose from. Enjoy a homemade meal - choose from Italian, American, British and traditional Scottish foods. Watch live sports, take part in a pub quiz or sing your heart out at karaoke!
Not a morning person? No problem. With 24/7 access to computers across campus, you can study at whatever time suits you best. Each cafe has WiFi access, so you can take your laptop and study there too.
The University library has over 300,000 books, 46,000 e-books and 45,000 e-journals. The Study Zone provides 24/7 access to study spaces, PCs and printing facilities... everything you need for successful studies! And the Careers and Employability Service offers specialist advice from faculty-focused careers and employability consultants.
Regular exercise is a great way to stay happy and healthy during your studies.
