Undergraduate Pathway in Business

Do you want to study for an undergraduate degree in the United States but need to improve English language skills or test scores? A Pathway program provides academic, language and cultural support in order to succeed at a US university. Students are guaranteed progression to an undergraduate degree program through curriculum consisting of credit-earning courses. We provide full integration with domestic and international students on campus from highly trained university instructors and tutors while giving you academic support throughout the program.

*Progression requirements to other universities may vary.

Dependent on the articulation agreement, students may be required to complete Calculus and Analytical Geometry 1 in the second year as one of the college electives. During the second year of the Pathway, students will select a well-rounded set of courses with the help of their academic advisor. Semester 3 will always commence in the fall.

  • High school diploma with a 3.0 GPA
  • High school diploma with a country equivalent of 2.5 GPA

  • TOEFL 80 (18 minimum subscores)
  • IELTS 6.5 (6.0 minimum subscores)
  • Completion of Academic English Level 6 with no grades below C
  • TOEFL iBT 60 (11 minimum subscores)
  • IELTS 5.5 (5.0 minimum subscores)
  • PTEA 44
  • INTO Password: 6.0 overall
  • Completion of Academic English Level 4 with no grades below C
  • TOEFL iBT 50 (10 minimum subscores)
  • IELTS 5.0 (4.5 minimum subscores)

What are the progression requirements?

Upon successful completion of the 4-Semester Undergraduate Pathway and meeting university requirements for undergraduate admission, you may enter your third year of undergraduate study at Drew University or at a number of well-known US universities. Progression is the transition from an INTO program to a university degree program. You must meet the following Drew University Pathway progression criteria in order to progress to Drew University*:

  • Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA per semester to remain in good academic standing
  • Minimum of 2.5 GPA in the Pathway program
  • No grade below C
  • Completion of all ESL support tutorials
  • No audition or portfolio required for Art, Art History, Music or Theatre majors.

What are my degree option after completing the INTO Pathway?

International students are guaranteed admission to the business degree program at Drew after successfully completing the Undergraduate Pathway and meeting all progression requirements.
