Graduate Pathway in Psychology

An INTO Mason Graduate Pathway in Psychology will prepare you to enter your next semester of a bachelor's degree program at George Mason University.

Upon successful completion of an INTO Mason Graduate Pathway program and meeting university requirements for graduate admission, you may enter your next semester of undergraduate study at George Mason University. This transition from an INTO Mason graduate pathway program to a university degree program is called progression.

Degree Program Components

2-Semester:

  • 32 credit hour program
  • 10-11 credit hours apply from Pathway
  • 21-22 credit hours remaining toward degree

1-Semester:

  • 32 credit hour program
  • 7 credit hours apply from Pathway
  • 25 credit hours remaining toward degree

English language requirements:

TOEFL iBT 85 (20+ subscores in reading and writing), IELTS 6.5 (6.5+ subscores in reading and writing), PTEA: 58, Completion of AE Core and OCS Level 6.

Age requirements: 17 years and above
Academic requirements:

Four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent in psychology, cognitive sciences or human factors. 2.75 undergraduate GPA equivalent.
