Graduate Pathway in Civil Engineering

An INTO OSU Graduate Pathway program in Civil Engineering will prepare you to enter your next term of a master’s degree program at Oregon State University.

Upon successful completion of the Pathway program and meeting university requirements for graduate admission, you may enter your next term of graduate study at Oregon State University. This transition from an INTO OSU program to a university degree program is called progression.

Degree Program Components

3-Term:

  • 45 credit hour program
  • 0 credit hours apply from Pathway
  • 45 credit hours remaining toward degree

2-Term:

  • 45 credit hour program
  • 9-15 credit hours apply from Pathway
  • No more than 30 credit hours remaining toward degree

How do I qualify?

English language requirements:

1 Term: TOEFL 85 (16 subscores), IELTS 6.5 (6.0 in all subscores), IELA 176 (169 subscores), or Duolingo 120.

2 Terms: TOEFL 80 (16 subscores), IELTS 6.5 (5.5 subscores), PTEA 53, IELA 176 (162 subscores), Duolingo 110 or Completion of AE Level 6 with C+ or higher (or Pass grades)

Age requirements: 16 years and above
Academic requirements:

1 Term: 3.0 GPA, No GRE Required, Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline. 2 Terms: 2.5 GPA, Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
