Campus life at INTO University of Exeter

A complete student experience

When it comes to creating a fun and fulfilling life outside of your studies, you’ll find the perfect environment right here. From clubs and societies to diverse faith groups and extensive sport facilities, the University of Exeter caters to a wide range of tastes and interests.

A multi-faith community

The University of Exeter’s multi-faith chaplaincy offers a range of amenities for both personal and group worship. The chaplaincy helps people discover and express a variety of beliefs, including Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Islam and Hinduism.

The service is open to anyone, including for a quick chat or to discuss personal matters in confidence.

The chaplaincy covers both the Streatham and St Luke’s campuses, and is available to everyone day or night. And if you find that your faith is not represented by the university, we will help direct you to religious groups in the wider community.

Best in the country

Named as The Times and The Sunday Times’ Sports University of the Year in 2016, the University of Exeter is famous for its sporting facilities, athletic achievements and sport-related academic programmes.

You’ll find a wide range of amenities here – from pitches and sports courts, to an extensive sports centre and great classes to try. The Athletic Union is home to more than 50 clubs such as archery, canoeing, lacrosse, sailing and volleyball.

At the Sports Park at Streatham Campus, you’ll find some great sports facilities. This includes tennis courts, swimming pools, golf practise greens, all-weather astro pitches, squash courts, a double sports hall, and amenities for performance training and fitness.

You can also develop your personal fitness through our wellness programme. This provides a range of fun, health activities and workshops to help you make friends and get involved in group events.
