INTO Group Bank Restrictions Policy Statement

INTO is committed to complying with global banking restrictions in line with the policies of our global banking partner.

The restrictions are regularly reviewed by our global banking partner and, should they change, INTO’s policy will be reviewed accordingly.

INTO abides by the guidance of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and our banking service providers in relation to taking actions to help prevent money laundering and terrorist financing.

Students domiciled in bank restricted countries will not be accepted onto programmes of study at INTO Centres in the UK or US. At February 2017, these countries and territories include Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria and the Crimean Peninsula.

Nationals of these restricted countries and territories who are domiciled elsewhere can continue to be accepted but will be subject to more stringent controls regarding their payment of fees and the processing of refunds.

Payments made from a restricted country of territory will be blocked by our global banking partner. In such cases, the payment will be dealt with under the sanctions policy of the bank to which the payment was remitted.
