INTO classroom

Meet your professors

Nervous about studying in a new language? In another country? Don’t be. Colorado State University prides itself in having years of experience working with international students just like you! Our teachers, who are CSU faculty, know how to help you develop your English language and study skills so you can achieve your academic goals.

The INTO Colorado State University team of teachers are highly qualified instructors who understand the challenges international students face. How do we know? Our teachers have taught, done research, or studied abroad themselves, so they are well prepared to help ease your transition into successful study in the US.

With class sizes averaging 15 students or fewer, you will receive individualized attention from your teachers. This means that they take the time to help you gain confidence in speaking, learning and writing in English. They’ll also want to get to know you, your experiences and your culture.

My classroom has a feeling of excitement, energy and optimism. The students follow my instructions and make friends quickly. It is a warm, inviting and energetic environment.

There is a lot of action in my classroom. We play many fun games, and the actual communication is not teacher-centered. It is like everything is going on at once.

It's really exciting for me to see someone come to another country, not speak the language well, and then study English with us and graduate from CSU.
