Living at Drew

We provide you with all the resources necessary for renewing your visa, scheduling a doctor’s appointment, finding a specific book for a research paper, and everything in between. We'll even have pillows, pillowcases, bath towels, wash clothes and other toiletries ready when you arrive. Forgot to pack something? As a part of international student orientation we'll take you to the store to get anything you may have forgotten.

Academic support at Drew

Are you having trouble in your calculus class? Maybe you need a little help on your scientific research paper? We've got you covered. At Drew University we specialize in student support and will help you reach your academic goals. Pathway tutors work with you on English language skills as well as subjects like math, science, engineering and business.

There are both one-on-one appointments available by request and walk-in hours at Drew's Center for Academic Excellence. The Conversation Partners Program matches international students with American students for one-to-one meetings to help improve your English skills. The Center for Academic Excellence, made up of the Math & Science Resource Center and the Center for Writing Excellence, offers peer subject and content tutoring free of charge.

Social and cultural support

We know answers to your questions don’t just pop up during the day. That’s why we have student services staff on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Services include academic advising, social activities and programming, housing assistance, dining assistance and help with orientation.
