We are committed to helping talented and ambitious international students like you achieve their goals of studying at a world-class US university. Scholarship funding is available for both direct-entry and Pathway students. Awards range from $8,000 to $122,000.

Eligibility

  • Fully admitted to an International Year One program, Undergraduate Transfer Program or Graduate Pathway program
  • 300-400 word personal statement may be required for some regions

Eligibility

  • $13,000 per year and renewable up to three years
  • Enrolled Hofstra degree-seeking student after successful completion of International Year One or Undergraduate Transfer Program
  • With a minimum GPA of 3.5, the student will be awarded up to $10,000
  • With a minimum GPA of 3.75, the student will be awarded up to $13,000
  • The award is renewable upon meeting all outlined requirements

Graduate Progression Scholarship

Maximum value

$8,000

Eligibility

  • $4,000 per year and renewable up to one year
  • Enrolled Hofstra degree-seeking student after successful completion of a Graduate Pathway program
  • With a minimum GPA of 3.5, the student will be awarded $2,000.
  • With a minimum GPA of 3.75, the student will be awarded $4,000
  • The award is renewable upon meeting all outlined requirements

Undergraduate Hofstra Scholarship and Merit Awards

Maximum value

$122,000

Eligibility

  • $30,500 per year and renewable up to four years
  • Enrolled Hofstra degree-seeking student
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA and SAT 1150 (or ACT 23) or minimum 3.5 GPA without standardized test score
  • Reward amount varies based on GPA and standardized test scores.

Graduate Direct Scholarship

Eligibility

*Scholarship amounts and eligibility requirements are subject to change. Renewable scholarships require students to meet a minimum GPA requirement each semester.

How much money is on offer?

The amount of money available through scholarships can vary. Remember that a scholarship will only cover some of your tuition fees. You will still have to fund your remaining tuition fees and your accommodation, insurance, visa and other living costs in full. For more information, see our fees and finance page.

What is the process of applying for a scholarship?

If you receive an offer letter after submitting your application to study with us, ask your education counselor whether there is a scholarship available. All scholarships are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
