How do I qualify?
English language requirements: |
IELTS 5.0 (with a minimum of 5.0 in reading and writing)* or equivalent. *For students using using ''student route visa'': IELTS 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in all subskills) or equivalent. |
Age requirements: | 21 years and above |
Academic requirements: | Successful completion of an undergraduate degree or an equivalent 3-year university diploma. Students with a 3-year diploma are offered a more limited range of progression opportunities for postgraduate study. Work experience in a related area can increase this range for diploma holders. Being academically pre-qualified for progression to your choice of university is essential. This programme cannot be used as an academic top-up. |

Typically held Monday to Friday between 08.00 - 17.00 excluding bank holidays. However, there may be instances where classes need to be held outside these times due to unforeseen circumstances. |
What will I study?
All students complete modules tailored to your chosen degree subjects.
How will I be assessed?
- Assessment is both formal and informal, using NCUK's EAP (English for Academic Purposes) criteria.
- Assessment of English language and communication skills will be based on written assignments, oral presentations, interview and written examinations.
- Assessment of subject content will be based on written assignments, group project work, oral presentations and written examinations.
- Assessment of the research dissertation will be based on the final written version of the project.
- Progress is monitored by continuous assessment of course work and class tests.
- The final grade is based on a mixture of course work and examinations.
- Successful students will achieve a pass, credit or distinction for their dissertation or project proposal.
