Do I qualify for a scholarship?

To be considered for this opportunity, submit your application to a Pathway program and once you have received your offer letter, ask your education counselor whether there is a scholarship available. All scholarships are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

What types of scholarship are available?

Continued Success Scholarship

The INTO OSU Continued Success Scholarship helps students finance studies in a full OSU graduate or undergraduate program after completing a Pathway program. Click here for more information.

$5,000

Eligibility

  • Students who achieve 3.75 overall cumulative GPA during Pathway program will automatically qualify for $5,000 annual scholarship towards their undergraduate or graduate degree studies
  • Students who achieve 3.50-3.74 overall cumulative GPA during Pathway program will automatically qualify for $3,000 annual scholarship towards their undergraduate or graduate degree studies
  • Undergraduate studies: The scholarship is renewable for up to 3 years for a total maximum award potential of $15,000
  • Graduate studies: The scholarship is renewable for up to 2 years for a total maximum award potential of $10,000

INTO OSU Regional Scholarship

International Baccalaureate Scholarship

Qualified applicants are automatically considered for this merit-based scholarship. The maximum value paid per year is $6,000.

  • Fully admitted to OSU as an international transfer or freshman undergraduate student
  • Completion of the international baccalaureate diploma with a score of 30 or higher
  • Non-resident tuition status
  • Renewable with a minimum GPA of 3.0; no application required for renewal

OSU International Provost's Scholarship for Excellence

The maximum value paid per year for this merit-based scholarship is $6,000.

  • Fully admitted to OSU as an international transfer or freshman undergraduate student
  • International student status
  • 3.5 GPA overall or higher
  • Non-resident tuition status
  • Renewable with a minimum GPA of 3.0; no application required for renewal

OSU International Honorary Scholarship for Corvallis Campus

Entering undergraduate students may apply for this scholarship, of which there are two available. Awards are renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study if renewal requirements are met. The maximum value paid per year is $15,000.

Eligibility

  • Incoming GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Fully admitted to OSU as a first-year or transfer student
  • Interview for all finalists

Write a 600-800 word essay describing your most impactful experience interacting with someone different from yourself (examples: different values, culture, language, etc.). Include challenges you faced, what you learned from that experience, and how you successfully navigated that relationship. Essay should be emailed to international.scholarships@oregonstate.edu.

International Student Continuation Scholarship

Eligibility

  • ISCS scholarships are for international undergraduate and graduate students who have been in their current program for at least one academic year and have demonstrated significant financial need as an international student at OSU
  • Priority given to students in the final stages of their programs to assist in degree completion

How much money is on offer?

The amount of money available through scholarships can vary. Remember that a scholarship will only cover some of your tuition fees. You will still have to fund your remaining tuition fees and your accommodation, insurance, visa and other living costs in full. For more information, see our fees and finance page.

What is the process of applying for a scholarship?

All scholarships are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you have received your offer letter for a study program, ask your education counselor or Enrollment Services Advisor whether there is a scholarship available.

Scholarship Eligibility Scholarship amounts and eligibility requirements are subject to change. Awards will be pro-rated dependent on program duration. All INTO OSU Scholarships are non-renewable.
