Scholarships at INTO Queen's University Belfast
At INTO Queen's University Belfast, we are committed to helping ambitious international students like you achieve their goals of studying at a world-class university in the UK.
With a range of generous scholarships on offer, you could be eligible to receive funding to help towards your tuition fees – regardless of your background or financial circumstance.
Scholarships up to the value of £3,000 are available during your time studying at INTO Queen's. There are further progression scholarships available upon successful completion of your course and entry to your degree program at Queen's University Belfast.
Do I qualify for a scholarship?
To find out whether you are eligible to apply, you'll need to take a look at the requirements for each individual scholarship. If you're not eligible for one particular scholarship, there may be another you can apply for instead.
Please be aware that successful scholarship holders will be expected to:
- successfully meet all remaining conditions for entry to their chosen course
- maintain excellent attendance and complete all work during their course.

Regional Scholarship
If you're starting an International Foundation, International Year One or Graduate Diploma pathway or Undergraduate Degree with International Year One at INTO Queen's University Belfast, you could be eligible for a scholarship to help towards your tuition fees.

A 10% reduction exclusively for INTO Queen's students progressing to a full-time degree program at the university.

International Office Undergraduate Scholarship
The International Office Undergraduate Scholarship is awarded to new international tuition fee students beginning their full-time studies at Queen's University Belfast in the academic year 2022-23.

International Office Postgraduate Taught Scholarship
The International Office Postgraduate Taught Scholarship is awarded to new international tuition fee students beginning their full-time studies at Queen's University Belfast in the academic year 2022-23.

How much money is on offer?
The amount of money available through scholarships can vary. Remember that a scholarship will only cover some of your tuition fees. You will still have to fund your remaining tuition fees and your accommodation, insurance, visa and other living costs in full. For more information, see our fees and finance page.
What is the process of applying for a scholarship?
You can only apply for a scholarship if you have also submitted an application to one of our courses.
Regional Scholarship To apply for a Regional Scholarship, you'll need to fill out the scholarship application form, and send it - along with copies of the documents listed below - to into@qub.ac.uk.
The documents you’ll need to provide are:
- your offer letter
- your latest academic transcript
- evidence of your English language proficiency
- a one page personal statement.
Your application will be reviewed by a scholarship panel, and if successful you will be notified via the email address provided on your application form.
