Graduate Pathway in Computer Science (CS Background or Non-CS Background)
An INTO SLU Graduate Pathway program in Computer Science will prepare you to enter your next semester of a master’s degree program at Saint Louis University. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Pathway program and meeting university requirements for graduate admission, you may enter your next semester of graduate study at Saint Louis University. This transition from an INTO program to a university degree program is called progression.
Undergraduate Degree or equivalent in Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics (STEM) field.* GPA 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. Professional goal statement optional. Letters of recommendation optional. GRE optional. *A customized course of study for the Master of Science depends on prior STEM classes and/or work experience in math/statistics, programming, data structures, object-oriented design, algorithms, and operating systems. Thus, the required credit hours to earn the Master of Science degree can range from 33 to 45 based on individual background.
English Language Requirements
TOEFL 70-74 (13 subscores in reading and writing), IELTS 6.0 (5.5 subscores in reading and writing), PTEA 48-49, TOEFL Essentials 7.5, Duolingo 95-100, or Completion of Academic English Level 5
