Graduate Pathway in Nutrition and Dietetics

An INTO SLU Graduate Pathway program in Nutrition and Dietetics will prepare you to enter your next semester of a master’s degree program at Saint Louis University. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Pathway program and meeting university requirements for graduate admission, you may enter your next semester of graduate study at Saint Louis University. This transition from an INTO program to a university degree program is called progression.

This International Year One 1-Semester program lasts six months and is designed for students who already have a higher level of English.

How do I qualify?

English language requirements:

TOEFL 75-79 (17 subscores in reading and writing), IELTS 6.0 (6.0 subscores in reading and writing), PTEA 50, TOEFL Essentials 8, or Duolingo 105

Age requirements: 16 years and above
Academic requirements:

Undergraduate degree in Nutrition or Dietetics or equivalent. 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale. 3 letters of recommendation. Professional goal statement. Current resume.

Minimum 3.0 cumulative SLU GPA. Successful Completion of Pathway Portfolio. Grade of B- or better in all classes counting toward major. No C-/D/F/W/I/P/NP/S/U grades. GRE optional (recommended 140 overall or higher).

This International Year One 2-Semester program lasts 12 months and is designed for students who have a moderate level of English.

How do I qualify?

English language requirements:

TOEFL 70-74 (13 subscores in reading and writing), IELTS 6.0 (5.5 subscores in reading and writing), PTEA 48-49, TOEFL Essentials 7.5, Duolingo 95-100, or Completion of Academic English Level 5

Age requirements: 16 years and above
Academic requirements:
