Kathy, Curriculum Coordinator and English Instructor
“When I teach English to INTO UAB students, I give them tools for success. I help them to improve their English language and skills, and to learn American university study skills. When students come back later to tell me they are getting good grades in their degree classes or are graduating from UAB, I’m happy that I could play a small part in their success.
Working with international students also opens my mind to the rest of the world. I learn how others live, and how they think and feel about their experiences. Our program’s diversity makes every lesson interesting.”
