Online Pre-sessional English at University of East Anglia

Online Pre-sessional English is an online programme that will help you advance your English language skills to the level required by your chosen degree. With a long history of successful student progression, 99% of Pre-sessional English students at INTO UEA progressed to UEA in 2019.

Focusing on content-specific vocabulary, academic writing, reading, listening and speaking, it is taught by the same expert teachers and to the same high standards as the face-to-face course, and offers the same guaranteed progression to your chosen degree at the University of East Anglia.

INTO UEA Pre-sessional Progression Award Successfully complete your INTO UEA Pre-sessional English course and progress to study a full-time degree at UEA, and you will receive an award equivalent to the cost of the programme deducted from your university tuition fees!

On campus Pre-sessional course We recommend that you enrol on our Online Pre-sessional, however we are currently still accepting applications for the 4-week on campus Pre-sessional course. In order to qualify for this course, students typically need the same IELTS point band as the level required by their University School of Study – both overall and in subskills. If you would like to apply for this programme, please contact the Centre for further details.
