Scholarships at INTO University of East Anglia

With a range of generous scholarships on offer for the highest-achieving students, you could be eligible to receive up to £6,000 towards your tuition fees.

Do I qualify for a scholarship?
To find out whether you are eligible to apply, you’ll need to take a look at the requirements for each individual scholarship. If you are not eligible for one particular scholarship, there may be another that you can apply for instead.
Please be aware that successful scholarship holders will be expected to:
- Successfully meet all remaining conditions for entry to their chosen course.
- Maintain excellent attendance and complete all work during their course.
What types of scholarship are available?
Regional Scholarship
If you're starting an International Foundation, International Year One or International Graduate Diploma pathway at INTO UEA, you could be eligible for a scholarship of up to £3,000 towards your tuition fees.

Foundation Progression Scholarship (merit-based)
An unlimited number of scholarships are available to INTO UEA students who performed well on their International Foundation program.

Students must have successfully completed the International Foundation pathway at INTO UEA and hold a degree offer from the University of East Anglia. |
International Year One in International Development with Media Scholarship
If you're starting an International Year One in International Development with Media at INTO UEA, you could be eligible for a scholarship of £2,000 towards your pathway tuition fees at INTO UEA, plus £2,000 towards your tuition fees in Years 2 and 3 of your undergraduate degree at UEA.

International Graduate Diploma Progression Scholarship
A scholarship is automatically offered to International Graduate Diploma students from a selection of countries progressing to a postgraduate degree at UEA.

UEA International and EU Scholarship Scheme
From 2023, all INTO UEA International Year One students are eligible to apply for the UEA International and EU Scholarship Scheme.

How much money is on offer?
The amount of money available through scholarships can vary. Remember that a scholarship will only cover some of your tuition fees. You will still have to fund your remaining tuition fees and your accommodation, insurance, visa and other living costs in full. For more information, see our fees and finance page.
What is the process of applying for a scholarship?
You can only apply for a scholarship if you have also submitted an application for one of our courses. To apply for a scholarship at INTO UEA, you will need to fill out the scholarship application form and send it – along with copies of the documents listed below – to into@uea.ac.uk.
The documents you’ll need to provide are:
- your offer letter
- your latest academic transcript
- evidence of your English language proficiency
- a one page personal statement
Your application will then be reviewed by a scholarship panel, and successful students will be notified via the email address provided on their application form.
