How do I qualify?

English language requirements:

IELTS 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each subskill) or equivalent.

Age requirements: 17 years and above
Academic requirements:

Pass in an undergraduate degree in any academic subject or Diploma (3-5 years) with high grades in any academic subject.

Entry requirements additional information:

If you're intending to progress to the University of Stirling, you may qualify for entry into our Integrated Programme.

This degree will teach you core management and financial skills, with a specialist knowledge of sport, to excel as a manager in the sporting sector. From research to event management, you'll learn from experts who are up-to-date on industry trends.

You'll have invaluable opportunities to undertake an internship with a sporting organisation and organise a local sports event with industry partners. The University has a Riipen license for this course, meaning that you'll have the opportunity to work with global companies on real business problems that are assessed and rated.

The University of Stirling is the UK's Sports University of the Year 2020 (The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020).


What will I study?

All students complete modules tailored to your chosen degree subjects.

How will I be assessed?

Assessment is both formal and informal. Informally you will receive advice and feedback throughout your programme from your teachers. You will also be assessed by a combination of examinations at the end of each semester, and coursework which may include written assignments, reports, practical exercises, group and individual research projects, presentations and problem-solving exercises.
