Students begin their academic journey at Mason-Korea, located in Songdo—South Korea’s thriving global business hub just outside Seoul. Established in 2014 as part of the innovative Incheon Global Campus, Mason-Korea was founded to help shape the next generation of global leaders. Invited by the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority, George Mason University joined this forward-thinking initiative to offer a truly international education.
Students can pursue one of six undergraduate programs, all approved by the Korean Ministry of Education. They have the opportunity to spend up to three years at the Korea campus and one year at Mason’s main campus in Fairfax, Virginia—earning a fully accredited U.S. degree identical to those awarded in the US. It’s the best of both worlds: cultural immersion, academic excellence, and access to global career opportunities.
