You must have appropriate insurance cover during your studies with us.
We can add Uniplan Insurance to the cost of your tuition fees. Uniplan is designed for international students who are living and studying in the UK. Cover includes lost personal items, travel, health and medical claims. See your offer letter for more details.
If you’d prefer to arrange it yourself, you’ll need to provide proof of equivalent insurance. It must include:
cover for the full duration of your pathway or English language preparation program
at least £2 million medical and repatriation cover
cancellation and curtailment cover for the cost of your travel and tuition fees.
You may need to pay the Immigration Health Surcharge as part of your visa application. This gives you access to the UK’s National Health Service (NHS).
You'll also need to pay an enrollment and textbook fee. Depending on your program, a studio or lab fee may also apply.

Save up to £9,000 on your degree at The University of Manchester, receiving a £3,000 tuition fee discount per year of study.
To be eligible, you must:
be due to successfully complete, or have completed, the International Foundation at INTO Manchester in partnership with The University of Manchester in the 2026-27 academic year
hold an unconditional offer to study at The University of Manchester by 31 August 2027, for a degree that will start in September 2027.
Please note: Sponsored students are not eligible. You must be a self-funding international student. Applicants for BA (Hons) Architecture are also not eligible.
Application process:
Applicants will be considered for the awards based on a combination of academic merit, attendance, engagement in extra-curricular activities and the quality of their scholarship application.
Scholarship awards will be applied as a tuition fee discount once enrollment at The University of Manchester is confirmed.
In order to receive the scholarship in Year 2 and Year 3, awardees must achieve an average score of 60% and participate in at least three brand ambassador activities in each of the preceding academic years.
Full details of the application and selection process will be shared with enrolled students in spring 2027.
Successful awardees will be notified in early September 2027.
