Pre-Masters Program

The University Of Western Australia

Don't yet meet the entry requirements for a master's degree at The University of Western Australia (UWA)? On successful completion of UWA College's Pre-Masters Program, you can progress to a UWA master’s degree in Business or Computing. You will study for 4 months (Accelerated Pathway) or 8 months (Standard Pathway), based on entry requirements. Either way, you'll build the skills and confidence to succeed in your postgraduate study.

Our Accelerated Pathway is the faster route for students who hold a bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the master's degree they want to progress to. The Standard Pathway is for graduates who hold an associate degree or equivalent, or whose previous study was not closely related to the master's degree they want to progress to.

Both pathways offer credit recognition of up to 24 credit points towards your master's degree. On the Accelerated Pathway, if your previous study is assessed for the full 24 credit points, your master's degree can be reduced by 6 months. On the Standard Pathway, you can earn credit points by successfully completing conversion units, and can progress into the second semester of the first year of your master's degree.

You’ll study in a supported learning environment, building the skills and confidence to succeed in postgraduate study at UWA, a world top 100 university (QS World University Rankings 2027) and member of the prestigious Group of Eight.
