At SLU-Madrid, students join a vibrant international community representing the US, Spain, and more than 75 other countries, speaking over 90 languages. Located in a peaceful, well-connected Madrid neighborhood with scenic views of the mountains and easy access to the city center, the campus blends the academic excellence of a US university with the cultural richness of European living.
Students can complete one of 20 undergraduate degrees or begin nearly any of SLU’s 90+ majors on campus, with the flexibility to finish their studies in Madrid or transfer to the main campus in St. Louis at any time. Popular programs include biology, mechanical engineering, computer science, nursing, and chemistry. SLU-Madrid also offers two graduate programs: an M.A. in Political Science and Public Affairs and an M.A. in Spanish.
Students also have a fantastic opportunity to work in Spain.
Spain allows its students to work on a student visa up to 30 hours per week.
After graduation, Spain allows students to apply for a post-study work visa.
Students get one year after completing your degree to find a job or start their own business in Spain.
