Accommodation at INTO Glasgow Caledonian University

Living in halls of residence is a part of student life that will help you to gain your independence, make new friends and become part of a multicultural community. With a choice of GCU accommodation and independent accommodation options close to the campus, it will be easy for you to find the perfect place to call home.

In the Liberty Park residence (most students' preferred choice), staff are available 24/7 to offer support and we will also provide you with a 24-hour helpline telephone number.

If you are under the age of 18, we will check your attendance at the INTO Centre daily. If you are not staying at Liberty Park, we will ask that you have a guardian over the age of 21 who will help to look out for your welfare.

Accommodation for September 2020

We very much hope to be able to welcome students to move into their accommodation in September 2020. The safety and wellbeing of our students is paramount. We are working to ensure that our accommodation will provide the facilities and services students need, while enabling government guidance around social distancing to be adhered to. In line with this, accommodation options and availability may be subject to change at short notice.

For September, only single occupancy rooms will be available, and students will not share bathrooms. Common and shared spaces, such as laundry rooms and kitchens, have been adapted to allow students to live together safely, with more frequent cleaning.

Students are encouraged to continue to apply for accommodation as part of their application. If unable to travel and begin your studies online, we will allocate any pre-payments to any outstanding tuition fees, or if you have already paid in full, credit this towards your accommodation from January 2021. If you choose to cancel your study plan, you can cancel your accommodation booking and we'll issue a full refund on any pre-payments up to, and including, the day before the start date of your programme.

Liberty Park

Most INTO GCU students choose to stay at Liberty Park. These modern flats are located at the heart of the city centre and are just a 5-minute walk from the INTO Centre.

You will have your own private room with an en suite bathroom that you will be responsible for keeping clean, and share a large communal kitchen and living area with a TV and sofa with other students in your flat.

You'll also find another large communal space that is shared with all students in the Liberty Park residence, where you can study, hang out with friends, watch TV and have some fun in the PS4/Xbox games area.

There are on-site laundry facilities, so you needn't worry about finding a laundrette.
