Undergraduate Progression Scholarship

  • Successful completion of International Year One or Undergraduate Transfer Program and matriculate to Hofstra
  • Achieve a minimum GPA 3.5 on International Year One or University Transfer Program to qualify for $4,000-$10,000 per year
  • Achieve a minimum GPA 3.75 on International Year One or University Transfer Program to qualify for $8,000-$13,000 per year
  • Maintain consecutive enrollment at Hofstra as a full time degree seeking student in an approved undergraduate program
  • Renewable up to three years as student remains in good academic standing, maintaining a GPA 3.0+

Graduate Progression Scholarship

  • Successful completion of Graduate Pathway program or Integrated Master’s Program
  • Achieve a minimum GPA 3.5 to qualify for $2,000 per year
  • Achieve a minimum GPA 3.75 to qualify for $4,000 per year
  • Maintain consecutive enrollment at Hofstra as a full time degree seeking student in an approved graduate program
  • Renewable up to one year as long as student remains in good academic standing, maintaining a GPA 3.0+

Undergraduate Hofstra Scholarship and Merit Awards (Direct Entry)

Eligibility

  • No scholarship application required, qualified applicants automatically considered
  • Applicable to full time first year Direct-Entry Undergraduate international enrollments
  • Awarded based on holistic review of the information supplied on admission application
  • Achieve a minimum GPA 3.0+ and SAT 1150 (or ACT 23), or minimumGPA 3.5+ without standardized test scores
  • Award amount varies based on GPA and standardized test scores

How much money is on offer?

The amount of money available through scholarships can vary. Remember that a scholarship will only cover some of your tuition fees. You will still have to fund your remaining tuition fees and your accommodation, insurance, visa and other living costs in full. For more information, see our fees and finance page.

What is the process of applying for a scholarship?

If you receive an offer letter after submitting your application to study with us, ask your education counselor whether there is a scholarship available. All scholarships are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
